M.J. Fievre is the founder of Sliver of Stone Magazine and the editor of So Spoke the Earth (WWOHD, 2012), an anthology about Haiti. Her short stories and poems have appeared in numerous literary magazines and anthologies, including The Southeast Review, The Caribbean Writer, Haiti Noir (Akashic Books, 2011), and The Beautiful Anthology (TNB Books, 2012). M.J. loves coconut shrimp, piña coladas, her dog Wiskee, and a good story. She graduated from the Creative Writing program at Florida International University and Anton Chekhov is one of her favorite writers.
